A group of dogs with words that say, " mostly asked questions ?"

We recommend bringing your pets regular food and treats from home for your dog to eat while staying with us.  Changing your dog’s food abruptly can cause gastrointestinal upset such as vomiting, diarrhea, and a decreased appetite.   We prefer that you pre-measure and bag your pet’s food in ziplock bags into individual serving portions marked with name for ease and accountability.  You can also bring the food in a sealed container with your own scoop and feeding instructions on the container.  If you choose not to bring your own food, we will provide food for your dog.

We do not accept outside bedding or blankets from home.  We wash bedding daily and would not want your bedding lost or damaged through our cleaning process. We supply bedding for each pet and would be happy to increase padding for older and arthritic pets; this service is included in your boarding rate.

For your pet’s safety we will remove anything from around their neck including flea collars to eliminate a choking hazard.  We ask that you take the leash and collar home with you and bring it back when you arrive to pick up your pet.

We require any dog staying for five days or longer to have a bath on the day of departure. This bath will have your pet looking and smelling fresh and clean for their trip home.  We recommend that dogs staying less that 5 days have a bath also, but it is not required.

Yes.  We do require a $100 deposit to reserve your pets stay.

We require each Dog to be up to date on Rabies, DHLPP (or any combination of Distemper and Parvo), and Bordetella.

We highly recommend the Canine Influenza vaccine and will require it when all veterinarians have access to it.

We require each Cat to be up to date on Rabies and FVRCP (Feline Distemper)

We will not do group play in our facility. We feel it is a risk to allow dogs from different households and backgrounds to play together. Dogs from the same household are allowed playtime together. Our goal is for your pet to feel safe and comfortable.

It is exactly like any hotel stay. The day of check in is charged as a full day regardless of check in time. Check out time is 12 noon.  If your pet is checked out before 12 noon, you will not be charged a full day of boarding.

Cancellations which occur within two days prior to check-in, will result in a one-night charge per guest and will be deducted from the deposit, regardless of when the reservation was made. To avoid charges, please cancel at least two days (48 hours) prior to your scheduled drop off date.

If your pet is picked up prior to the scheduled date of departure without 48 hours’ notice, you will be charged for the full duration of the reservation

We are dedicated to ensuring that animals left in our care are kept active and entertained as much as possible. This helps to keep them healthy and mentally stimulated, which can prevent undesirable behaviors such as chewing or scratching from developing. Chances are, if your pet seems more tired than usual and seems to be sleeping a lot, it is because our team members have done a good job at keeping him busy. He simply needs to catch up on some well-earned rest and relaxation
